A very big pain in the arse if you're working on an E-2 teaching visa, unless you're willing to ignore the law and run the risk of getting popped and deported.
Still, feel free to come on over, get yourself a hakwon or university job that would provide the flexibility to accomodate corporate teaching, and then put your feelers out in the local community.
Or you could search job boards for companies hiring for their training centers. The pay probably isn't what you'd be expecting from working individual private gigs at companies, but at least you'd be 'teaching corporate' if that's your goal.
What do you consider 'reasonable pay' and 'reasonable hours', and do your academic background and professional qualifications justify them? If you're just talking about teaching 'business English', then you'll be looking forward to competing with a load of people with experience and business degrees looking to grab a piece of the corporate English training pie.
If you're talking about real consulting, you'd better be coming to the table with advanced degrees and real world experience, plus documentable consulting experience. You can apply to the standard big two or three international consulting companies for this type of work.
Cheers and good luck to you. |
