12,000 is a bargain. In Busan, I was dropping 16-17 large for a can. I just plain stopped. I brought 2 boxes of generic "Nicorette". I am currently chewing this crap on a regular basis and going out of my mind. I absolutely love stuffing my face with tobacco!!

i posted on this a while back. i want to order some online, but i can't find any sites that deliver copenhagen or skoal. anyone with any experience ordering snuff online?

also, what's up at costco? in the states that's a great resource for buying logs instead of one tin at a time. do they sell dip in korean costco?

i just had an army guy hook me up with one can. lasted two days and i'm going nuts trying to locate some more.

thanks

If you go to Hannam Market, there is a small store in the same basement called Dandy's Grocery. He sells Skoal and Copenhagen...maybe some chewing tobacco in pouches, too.

If you ask him to order some special flavors for you (ie. mint or cherry) he will do so. I think it's about man won a tin. Used to be 7,000 won. Anyways, he usually has about 8-10 tins right on the counter with the cash register.

Molly, what's man won a tin? If it's anywhere near 7 large a can, jump on that deal right now and forever!!

You must be from the deep south! I have never seen dip in a Costco. Anyway, We northern folk call a package of 5 a "sleeve". Are you old enough to remember when a sleeve contained 10 cans and would cost about 10-15 American? I believe they were called the "Good Ole Days".

I do think it is closer to 9,000 or 10,000 KRW. I don't buy it, so I can't be sure. After the KRW nosedived last fall, import prices everywhere went up.

Get someone back home to mail it to you.

If you can ship up to 20 packs of smokes from the US to Korea without any problems at Customs. I'm sure you can ship a few logs of dip.

Wherever you mail it, they will ask if there's anything liquid, dangerous, or perishable. You make the call.

I have yet to see any "leaf" in this country? We northern American's call it leaf. I have no idea what Swedish snus is, but I did purchase some dip from I believe Denmark. I purchases some loose dip and some pouched dip (Skoal banditesque). It was terrible! The taste was close to Copenhagen (the American product) but also far from it. Go figure!
