I never saw these photos in the Western media. I doubt you did either. Assuming the photos are true, it shows you how far the abuse went.

Keep in mind that those photos could be fakes, especially since they are being shown by an Iranian news agency. But they do look real to me.
And regardless of if they are fakes or not, they are being shown to a Middle Eastern audience. And as you can see from the comments below the article, a negative response is generated from viewers after seeing the photos. And that negative response that can lead to anti-American, anti-Semitic, anti-Western, etc., feelings. |

| Be careful as some of the photos doing the rounds are deemed genuine (like those leaked from SBS Australia) while supposedly others have been traced to American and Hungarian porn sites where they are probably posed or simulated. |

Nice use of the word supposedly, big bird. Yes, like theres really no doubt that Iran would be above board and totally honest. Why do you refuse to call a spade a spade? Because it doesnt jive with your agenda? |

Only such a well practiced troll could twist my warning to be skeptical into some kind of apologism for the Iranian leadership. Well done.
Having just now viewed them (finally out of sight of others) I feel rather sick as I am sure that, faked or not, these pictures show the kind of stuff that really went on. I would love to see both the people who did this kind of stuff, as well as those who allowed it, have their asses hauled into court as war criminals. So far we've only had a few punished, and they were pretty low down on the chain. |

Does hatred of western democracy blind you so much that you must, at every step, defend those who want to destroy the freedoms you are lucky to enjoy? Keep sticking your head in the sand. The Bush administration created and allowed a climate where abuse ran rampant.
Even faked photos can imitate reality and there are enough reports leaking out to judge that rape and sexual abuse was carried out on Iraqi captives. |
