I can't access the data files stores on my ipod in windows explorer.
I've tried 'show hidden files', and I've tried resetting my ipod. Neither has worked. I took to an ipod store, and the guy there was total confused. I've tried searching the web. The only soulution could find was to reset my ipod. I tried again.
It still doesn't work. I ran a virus scan. Guess what? All the files are still there. They're just totally invisiible to windows explorer. Any ideas?

iTunes is the most cryptic piece of software I have ever come across.
Tried "enable disk use"? |

Yes, that's been enabled since day 1. I'll just have to go to an apple/ipod service center.

I've been to three ipod service centers and none of them have ever seen a problem like this before. One store said they had fixed the problem. I was suspicious when they said 'no fee'. I was right to be suspicious. They had fixed it at all. Additionally, the ipod support site effing useless. Any ideas, anyone.

Throw it away and replace it with a proper MP3 player like iRiver or Creative Labs. |

Cheers
I'll just throw away five years of photos and an e-certificate. I'll just write off the money I have sitting in Korea. Drop me a line when you can think of something more intellegent to say. |

Could had been the docking port connector gone bad. A docking cable stuck in my port and when I pulled it out, the little pin connector dislodged and now the IPOD doesn't show up in, "My Computer," nor readable by Itunes nor chargable.
I know I need a new docking port connector repair. Searching for where to go get it done. |
