I am glad it's summertime and the weather is fitting for a nice cold BBNM once in a while! |

^^ Can you recommend some places that specalize in that dish? I have tried BBNM from about 10 different restaurants, mostly in Gangnam and Daechi-dong, but I have yet to find the "area" that is known for them. I love the thinly sliced beef and the crisp julienned cucumbers.
But at least 5 times the waitresses triedf to order 물 for me: "ooh noo...too spicy for you." Just give me the spicy dish, lady.
I usually just pop into any 면옥 place I see and try it out when I am looking to eat something. |

Anyplace that serves Kalbi should offer this as a last course. Technically you can go into any Kalbi restaurant and order this as a meal in itself.
However I've heard storys of places refusing to accomidate this. Particulary when they are busy and crowded. |

Try 봉피양. Gangnam station, exit 3.
They have both pyungyang naengmyeon and bibim naengmyeon
http://www.ibjgalbi.com/ - their website.
there is no naengmyeon district. Just a bunch of half decent shops scattered across Seoul. |
