I've been studying for about a year now, and I still have problems with speaking and understanding, especially with the vowels.
Anyways, I found a pretty good book to help with making the sounds and I thought some of you might be in the same boat. The book's name is

한국어발음47
(Korean Pronunciation 47)

There are 2 levels, and the first one has a light green, white and gray cover. It comes with 6 CDs for 23,000 won. I picked it up at the main Kyobo branch in Seoul, but I'm sure it's available at most bookstores with Korean language learning materials. There's an introduction in English, but after that it's only Korean, so if you can't read Hangeul yet, it's probably not what you're looking for.

Just curious, which sounds did you exactly have trouble with?

For the vowels, I've always had difficulty distinguishing 어/오, and for the consonants it's the difference between ㅈ/ㅊ/ㅉ, ㄱ/ㅋ/ㄲ etc.

The truth is Koreans often don't pronounce their language as it is written.

Similar to English, context plays a major role in being able to understand what people are saying.

뭐 is often pronounced sounding more like 모

There are thousands of examples.

My suggestion:

www.youtube.com,

Then do a search for "LSK (old series)" videos. There are 60 lessons in 2 parts each, they cover pronunciation quite well.

Cool, I'll be sure to emphasize those on my wiki.

I've never tried the book you mentioned, but I have one I'd highly recommend, and it's written in English (published in the U.S.). It's:

The Sounds of Korean: a Pronunciation Guide by Mihoo Cho and William O' Grady. It comes with a CD, and it's good for both beginners and more advanced students who want to improve their pronunciation (though admittedly a little boring for more advanced students, but still good review).
