What can one do to renew a teaching certificate from Korea?
I mean can one use the teaching experience in Korea to use that as grounds for renewal? I am not sure how it generally works. |

I have added years of a experience in Korea to a teaching license. (for pay upgrades)
I have used continuing education activities (KOTESOL, Oxford, KATE) in Korea towards a license renewal.
However, I have not yet spent an entire license cycle in Korea.
Do you HAVE to have experience for renewal? |

I am verifying with the education department as to what I need to do. I am sure, my experience teaching in Korea should count for something. I am going to keep documentation or letters from bosses indicating the dates where I worked there. |

I gotta love my province. It's all about the money. Pay your yearly membership fees and your certification stays "in good standing". Don't pay your fees and well...you get the picture.
Those that teach in the province, the fees are deducted at the beginning of the year from your salary. Those that are abroad, unfortunately have to use a credit card. |

My Mississippi teaching license expired in 2007. I went home in 2008 and re-applied, 2 weeks later it was mailed to my house. |

Ontario College of Teachers.
Pretty sure we also have to sign a form stating we haven't broken any laws in the past year. |
