Are these English villages only camps, or can I bring a student or students to one for a field trip for an afternoon?

If I can't. Is there an English immersion place that one can visit for a few hours for a nominal fee?

You can walk into Paju English Village for a small fee and have fun trying to estimate how much money got wasted there.

thanx. But is it worth it for a student, or just a waste of time/cash?

Most English Villages have weekend programs that you can sign up for. As to the quality of the Village, each one is different (I work for one and have visited several others).

It's worth calling the one nearest you and finding out if they offer daylong weekend programs. Most of the time weekdays are filled with schools who come for 2, 3 or 5 days.

Hmmm, that depends. If you wanted to impress the parants of a private with some neat-looking photos from an exotic outing it might be worth it. However a while back a bilingual reporter went there undercover and couldn't find anyone to speak English with him, so you might be better off just going to Seoul Grand Park.

potblackettle - which English Village are you working at currently? I'm considering one for next year. How do you like it?
