I'm under NHIC / NPP but my school charged me the 'independent contractor' rate for income tax (withholding tax)....around 3%

I've showed them the tax calculator on the NTS website but I could only find it in English.

Anyone have a link to a korean page that explains the correct income tax rate I should be paying ????? or a telephone number I could call ?????

I'm the first foreigner at my school and they've previously had all teachers as independent contractors.
