I'm wondering if anyone has used Zenith Travel for booking fligts recently. I've always used Shoestring Travel, until recently, when my favourite travel agent left the company. Zenith has quoted me an unbelievable price, so before I transfer money into their account, I'd like to be sure that they're a legit agency and still up and running. If anyone has any recent experiences or advice, I'd be happy to hear them. Thanks in advance!

Haven't ever heard of Zenith travel, but I remember the last American made television being a Zenith made in Springfield, Missouri back in the wee hours of the 1990's. This is when they sold out to the Koreans due to Japanese makers producing cheaper sets and so Korea was set up with good jobs and new wealth surrounding tech hardware manufacturing. Of course this Zenith American thing has nothing to do with Korea. Or does it? LG bought out Zenith, the American company years ago so this could be a reincarnation of the name under LG called, "Zenith Travel." You'd be surprised how diversified these conglomerates are, but yet hard to find factual info on just what all it is they do. Like usual, no current info to be had in Googling nor Wiki-ing, but Zenith was listed in 2005 in the travel agent sticky. Try that phone number and email to inquire. If no consistency, then they forgot who they are.

I used them three times back in 2004/2005, tenwe found a different website, plus my wife hates the one guy we used.

They were pretty good, ONE of my flighst got messed up, but the ficed it when they were made aware of the problem, and they had to pay me money oout of pocket for the mistake. (they had to pay me money for a missed connection. ONE of my tickets wasnt purchased by them, i had to pay at an airport for that connection, and they paidme back when i rturned)

hope that helps

I've used them frequently. Went to Newfoundland 4 times this year(Family emergency). I was always happy with their price; 1.6 - 2 Mil to N.L. return. Got one price to calgary for my wife in April 860,000 return all in. Never had a problem with payment. They are ligit as far as my dealings have gone with them (7 or 8 transactions with them)

I've used them twice this year, once for Thailand and once for Japan. They've given me the cheapest tickets are they're easy to deal with. Just confirm your tickets (as you would any other time) with the airline before you travel.

Another shout out for Zenith. I just booked 2 RT tickets to Beijing for 610,000 total. The cheapest I could find online for my dates was $324 per person.

Wystan is great: [email protected]

I emailed them and never heard a damn thing back. Other agencies got back to me, and it was cheaper for me to go directly to the source. No problem.
