|
|
Ok so I have heard some conflicting information regarding the criminal record check. One recruiter told me per the new regulations it has to be a STATE level check while other recruiters told me a local police station check is fine. Does anybody know about this? Anybody tried to use a local check lately and had any problems?
Also are there any places where you can get a 6 or 9 month contract instead of a year. I would do a year contract but I can to go away for a couple weeks next June and the more I think about it, it just doesn't sound like a year contract is feasible. I don't want to break a contract and it doesn't sound like I'll be able to convince any employer to give me that time off.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated. |

When I did my criminal background check, it was a state check. But I did it at my local police station.
I went to my local police station and asked them to do a 'state criminal background check'. This is different, than say, a city level background check, which would check to see if I had ever been arrested for any sort of poor behavior in my city. |
