Hey!

I've been looking at this seemlingly great site http://global.encar.com/
I'm considering buying a GMDaewoo Matiz (or any other small sized car for under 1500$).

Does anyone have experience buying from them? Or with that car?

Also, I have never owned a car before, so what should I look for? Is 100,000km too high on the odometer? And I briefly read something about making sure there's no unpaid bills left on the car, or something?

Anyways, I would appreciate any advice, tips or opinions as I'm totally clueless when it comes to cars!!

Thanks!

I didn't buy from that site but did buy a Matiz about four years ago.

Just done the usual stuff to it plus an alternator and fuel pump in that time. Got it with only 52000km on the clock, almost clocked up 100000 it stills runs well.
