PLEASE READ CAREFULLY IF YOU KNOW THE LAW:
My hogwon owners are not dishonest - just dumb. And going broke because they're dumb. So I want to stick to advice that is legally ethical and enforceable.

The school tried to cut my last paycheck in half after telling me they'd have to end my contract early. Reason is complicated, but I need to explain: Part of my workday was spent in a kindergarten program which they SOLD without telling me (in fact, I asked if they'd sold it - they said NO).

I took a winter camp job and planned to leave one week early - they asked and I agreed to be paid for 3/4 weeks that month.

Then when recruiter tried to change visa, the hogwon owner told her he'd sold the business and turned in the business number. Recruiter freaked - she immediately told me to make that my last day, since obviously I'd known nothing about this but it was definitely illegal.

I'd worked 12 days into the month - and that's all they now want to pay. although at the time they seemed to agree to pay 3/4. I maintain that I didn't quit voluntarily (in fact - the next day they took me to immigration and turned in the visa so I DEFINITELY couldn't work after that).

I quit because I had to - and couldn't work without a visa anyway. I reminded them then that they'd agreed to full severance (they've paid this) and 3/4 salary for that month (I've only gotten half) and airfare (they're not talking about this at all.)

TODAY I threatened to go to immigration and spill the beans. (They did other illegal things early on, over my objections. Immigration could fine them at least 10 and maybe 20 million won based on all their stupidly illegal acts. I doubt they understand most of this - their English is poor)

They told me to go to immigration if I wanted. They didn't care!

WHAT DO YOU SUGGEST? Please read all the above carefully.... I'd appreciate a reply that shows some knowledge of the law. I don't want to trash the joint or something silly. I just want what they'd already agreed to - as far as I'm concerned, the mess-up with the last week+ of work was entirely their fault. I was ready - they simply screwed themselves.
Confused
THANKS (I hope I get some solid, encouraging advice here!)
