As the title says.

Do you think that you will get the same medical treatment as native Koreans during a pandemic or will the foreigners be pushed to the back of the line and left to drown in their own fluids.

Every time I've gone to any hospital or clinic in this country, the medical staff have performed their duties, including triage, in a professional and non-discriminatory manner.

I like how your title says "the pandemic" but your post says "a pandemic"

I enjoy my Korea bashing as much as the next guy, but even this one is ridiculous.

the last few times I went to see my ENT (eye nose and throat dr - which is where I would go if I become symptomatic) it almost seemed as if I was being pushed to the front of those waiting already - for whatever reason.

I've been going to the same dr for several years, no, I don't anticipate any kind of discrimination.

now, that being said, if I was new here, did not have a regular dr, and went to one for the first time, well, I don't know how that would be. would they be in a hurry to get one out of there? or treat them so like the other poster said?

I think you'd have more to worry about from the staff than the drs, truthfully. I think the drs will just do their job - we're all just another body to them. Wink

Just wait until there are 100000s of hypochondriac Koreans at the doctors and hospitals trying to be seen.

the last place I would want to be during some kind of outbreak is in a hospital surrounded by hundreds/thousands of Koreans coughing and spitting
