As the title says.
Do you think that you will get the same medical treatment as native Koreans during a pandemic or will the foreigners be pushed to the back of the line and left to drown in their own fluids. |

Every time I've gone to any hospital or clinic in this country, the medical staff have performed their duties, including triage, in a professional and non-discriminatory manner. |

I like how your title says "the pandemic" but your post says "a pandemic" |

It's threads like this that make me want to leave this site and never come back.
However, it's also threads like this that keep me coming back for more. |

I enjoy my Korea bashing as much as the next guy, but even this one is ridiculous. |

the last few times I went to see my ENT (eye nose and throat dr - which is where I would go if I become symptomatic) it almost seemed as if I was being pushed to the front of those waiting already - for whatever reason.
I've been going to the same dr for several years, no, I don't anticipate any kind of discrimination.
now, that being said, if I was new here, did not have a regular dr, and went to one for the first time, well, I don't know how that would be. would they be in a hurry to get one out of there? or treat them so like the other poster said?
I think you'd have more to worry about from the staff than the drs, truthfully. I think the drs will just do their job - we're all just another body to them. |

Just wait until there are 100000s of hypochondriac Koreans at the doctors and hospitals trying to be seen. |

the last place I would want to be during some kind of outbreak is in a hospital surrounded by hundreds/thousands of Koreans coughing and spitting |
