Hi everyone!
I need your advice.. I was wondering which of the two certificates is better? TEFL or TESOL? and what do they prefer in the US or Korea?
Thank you everyone for your comments.. I appreciate it a lot ^^ |

They're about the same. It doesn't really make a difference. |

TESOL refers to Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages in countries and nations where English is the official language.
TEFL refers to Teaching English as a Foreign Language in countries and nations where English is NOT the official language or widely spoken.
same same but different so if you plan on an English teaching career in the Korea or any other country or nation where English is NOT the official language or widely spoken, jack dat TEFL credential and prosper for what it's worth, baby!
it also begs the question, where in this town can i buy Cherry Coke? huh? where? |

Technically they are not the same, but everyone uses them interchangeably, so they may as well be (for sake of argument). |
