To live conviniently you need to know about claiming your rights as foreigners by using the call number 120.

(1) provides you instant bus/subway/trains/even shops,restaurants information in Gyeggido and Seoul.
: It is quite tough to figure out the way you're going when you get lost in street.

(2) helps your complaints/proposals about metro, tourism, environment report(air/water pollution caused by factories,cars,buses...), policies of Seoul, Gyeonggido city councils and government.
(3) deals with other civil matters

Once you call 120, basically you need to ask staffs to transfer to the english speaker for convinience.

I believe the 120 number is maintained by the Seoul Metro government.
