I want to ride along the Han the river one day this weekend. Is there anywhere convenient that rents decent bikes out for the day close to the river and a subway station?
If so, can you give me directions and an idea of the price.

Have you tried Yeouido island (Yeouido station and Yeouinaru station)? It is a large island that is in the Han river. The big 62 building is there. Part of the island is big city buildings, part of it is a civic center, and part of it is a park. I believe they rent bicycles there. Sorry, but that's all I know.

Don't know where you live, but i'd recommend this. I cycled from Seoul forest to olympic stadium and back. It was a great day out, took quite a few hours. It costs 3000 an hour afaik.

taken from someone's blog :
Ttukseom Station (line 2), exit 8, there's a shuttle bus that goes right to the park entrance, and a bike rental spot right next to the entrance. You. Have. No. Excuse. Not. To. (if you live in Seoul)

You can also rent bikes along the river near Ichon station. They also rent for 3,000 per hour.

Are the bikes really shitty at most places? If I'm riding it most of the day I would be happy to pay a bit more for something decent.
