Hey all, I'm considering a job in Busan in Sasang-gu (Jurye-dong). I know it's close to Seomyeon which would be a cool spot, but I don't know anything about Sasang-gu or Jurye-dong. Would it be a decent spot to live/teach does anyone know.

Thanks!

Sasang has all of the basic stuff (Emart, Homeplus, post office, market, etc.), but not a lot of the kind of stuff that brings people in from other parts of town.

There is a lot of poverty in Sasang. A lot of the people in the area depended on the factories for their living. When the factories were moved overseas to save on labor costs, it left a lot of unemployed people.

There are a lot of people from other Asian countries living in Sasang, so you can find some good foreign food there.
