Hey everybody, I just moved to Seoul to teach English and since I am by myself (there aren't any foreign teachers at my school), I was wondering if any of you had any advice on the best nightlife spots to go to during the week, such as on a Tuesday.

I'm sure I can find good spots to go to on the weekends, but where would I find a crowded place on a Tuesday or Wednesday where I could meet people?

Thanks!

Tuesdays are usually dead...try itaewon....

Or try some local "wa" bars that have young people....something interesting will happen after a couple of beers if it's all young people.

Back when I was young and virile and out on a Tuesday night, I never figured out a pattern. You could choose a local watering hole, and monitor it for weeks, removing any outliers like a big footie match, and in the end come up with no real pattern. Some nights, flash mobs occur on accident. Other nights, you'll have three bartenders to yourself.

Just pub crawl until you find your sanctuary.

You can't even be guaranteed a good night on a Friday, nevermind a weeknight.

Saturday night is the only night for Seoul nightlife. How crap is that! Seoul is not like London or NY.

My advice?....forget about going out on weeknights, you'll be dissapointed.

Never actually found a good place for a Tuesday night

The only place I remember being at on a work night that was great was NB in Gangham Im leaning towards it being a Sunday night, but it might have actually been a Monday cant quite remember but it was packed and we had a great time

Found youve got to wait until Thursday for nightlife to really start Thursday through Saturday are generally the fun nights

I never lived anywhere near Hongdae I would assume theyd have the highest chance of a good Tuesday night since its studentville
