Hi!
My hagwon job ends on July 6th and I am going home for the summer.

My new job starts with Smoe on August 24th.

I would really like to come back to Korea at the beginning of August and spend August in Seoul with friends before the new job starts...

I have sent my recruiter all the docs.. do you think its possible to be issued the E2 visa early? so i can come back to Korea early???

Why not just re-enter Korea on a 90 day tourist visa, & go to the local immigration office in late August, early September, to activate your E2 visa & obtain the new ARC?

I did this, but had to do a visa run to Japan, but I assume you will be arranging the E2 visa, in your home country, before you leave?

yeah i thought about that....
but i was planning on coming to Seoul early august, spending a week then going to Bali or Philipines on vacation and then back to seoul at the end of august to start work..

So to have multiple entries i would need the e2 no?
