Anyone have an idea of where would be cheaper to pick up a load of monthly contact lenses before I go home? I'm going to be in each of these cities, do you think there will be much price difference between the three? |

I'm from the USA, and had a prescription done up at a local Wal-Mart, then ordered my contacts from 1-800-CONTACTS (or some other discount online place). I got 3 years worth for a lot cheaper than anywhere. Disposable contacts in Korea were starting to get too expensive last year, and I'm sure they've gone up even more recently.
Do a Google search for coupons to the place you choose, and you'll probably be able to get even more of a discount. Last year, I was getting boxes of Bausch&Lomb Acuvue2 contacts for about $15! |

I definitely support bassexpander's post. They're cheap, and you do NOT need a prescription (but you do if you live in the US!).
For the paranoid users (I might be slightly), I'm not too sure if I'd trust any contacts I could find in other places that are offered substantially cheaper. These are my eyes we're talking about. "Made in China" definitely ISN'T going to cut it (or actually might, literally!) |
