We've been playing here in Seoul for awhile and we are trying to find a guitarist and keyboardist to complete our lineup

So far we've been getting alot of the usual: weirdos, druggies, flakes, etc.

My question is where are some good places to find foreign or korean musicians?

thx a bunch Cool

I love this...Musicians being picky about other people. Let's try this again...Musicians hear things in their HEAD. Yes they do. All the time. They can't turn it off, they don't want to, and you expect them to be normal. Musicians are not people who have 4GB on their i-pod. Musicians are seriously messed up people. And you want ones that aren't?

'Musicians are seriously messed up people.'

A musician could be someone who plays the viola as a hobby or someone who sings in a choir or some hard rocking goth dude.

Dont generalise you idiot.

Do yourself a massive favor and check out this small bar in Apkujeong:

http://www.justblues.co.kr/

The owner plays on weekends, usually. His name is Chai Soo Young. Wow, he can REALLY play well (and sing). I had no idea there was music that good made in Seoul. The keyboard ajumma is really fun to watch, too... hellagood.

I believe the owner speaks a fair amount of English, and you could probably find out where to hook up with some experienced musicians that do quality work. Lots of foreigners frequent that place, too.

Good luck.
