This is the drink thread.

Post drinks that we can make in Korea, unique or not.

1. Espresso Stout
--1 bottle of Hite Stout, Espresso to taste. This is a good drink for those dive-y little Korean "coffee" bars.

2. Bokbunjajoo + Tonic Water
--Bokbunjajoo (rasberry wine) in a wine glass and tonic water to taste. This stuff is amazing. Ladies, if you're missing Cosmos, this is a damned good replacement.

I call this drink the "Banghwa Basic." Originally invented for the subway ride from Banghwa to central Seoul. The drink is more about process than ingredients.

What you need:
Chilsung Cider
Mini-bottle of Soju

How you drink it:
Drink the Cider down to that first bulge.
Fill to top with soju.
Cap it and mix.
Drink to bulge.
Fill with soju.
Cap it and mix.
Finish it. (Finishing usually occurred near Yeungdeungpo-gu Cheon Station if you're going for accuracy)

Props go to Banghwa Josh for introducing me to this one. More drinks to come folks.

The "Space Jam."

What you need:
KGB Vodka Cruiser - Blueberry flavor
Orange Fanta
Soju

How you make it:
1. Get yourself a good sized cup (think 500cc)
2. Put in about ~4 generous shots of soju
3. Add blueberry cruiser until about 3/4-4/5ths full
4. Add Orange Fanta to taste
(5. I advise playing the Space Jam soundtrack while drinking)

Flaming Dr. Pepper

6 ounces Beer
1 ounce Amaretto
1 dash 151 Proof Rum

Pour about 2/3 of a can of beer into a glass. Fill a shot glass almost full with Amaretto and use the back of a spoon to layer the Bacardi 151on top of the glass. Ignite and quickly drop the shot glass in the beer glass. Drink quickly.

OR

Century Club

Supplies: 10-12 beers per player.

This is a beer drinking game of massive proportions. The rules are simple to this game. Everyone grabs a shot glass and for every minute for 100 consecutive minutes you take one shot of beer. Does it sound easy? Wait till you get done and then see what you think.

The Rising Ceaser

A play off the classic Caesar.

Clamato Juice
Vodka
Worcester Sauce
Finely chopped kimchi

If it's not spicy enough you can add a dap or two of tabasco.

Related to this- Edward Sixteenhundredmilliliterhands. Two 1600mls of Plastic Encased Hite/Max/Cass duct-taped to your hands. In our version bathroom breaks are allowed, but removal of the beers is not. Best played where you have a yard/alley to urinate in. The key is to drink it before it gets warm. Plastic Bottles don't help this, though others disagree.

Not quite as catchy as Edward Fortyhands (U.S.) If anyone shows up with malt liquor instead of beer, all beer-drinkers MUST finish before the Malt Liquor guy and Ice Beer is considered Beer and not Malt Liquor.

I wish I had some Mickey's, I once got fired from a job because of Mickey's. That and the metric system is the tool of the devil.

Great games. Also try this one. Drink a beer then wait 6 minutes and drink another, then wait 5 mins and drink another, then another after 4 mins down to 1 minute. I think you have 2 mins to drink each beer. I son't know the name of this game.
