She was looking for me, wanted to meet with me. My new boss said I should (I knew this wasnt a good idea) she threatened to sue me, then said sorry about 10 or 12 times about "what happened" Also, claimed she would pay mefor three weeks of work I never got. She is currently in a labor dispute with my old co-worker (american) and trying to turn me against her. As soon as she left, I emailed my friend and told her what had happened. The next day, we went to the labor board, they said they couldnt help. Friday, they called my new school again and made wild allegations about me being a drunk and a horrible teacher and human being.
What would you do? |

Go back to labor. Labor Standards Act specifies that old employers cannot, by law, interfere with your future employment (sorry, can't remember which clause, you'll have to read through ti yourself). Get the Labor office to tell her to back off. |

| It looks like you've got a stalker on your hands. It's bad enough having a crappy boss; it's even worse when you're trying to move on and they won't get out of your life. I agree with the young frank op. Keep complaining to the labor board. |
