Can the consulate deny you a visa after the interview?

I just feel i totally blew the interview lol the lady was
so rude and couldn't stand me...

Yes, they can deny your visa. Their job is to say yes or no. I've never heard of anyone being denied based on the interview, though, so please keep us posted. Maybe they have been chastised for being too lenient and they need to fill a new quota for denials.

It sounds like you've experienced a short lesson on life in Korea. Perhaps that was the plan. If you are unable to bow, smile and respond politely in the face of a rude, insulting Korean ajuma or ajohssi, then you may have trouble here anyway.

Look at it this way - it's much better to be denied a visa than to be brought to K-land (sometimes on ones owns 'dime') and told to start working without a visa when you'll be screwed 'six ways to Sunday'.

There's a reason you were denied a visa... you're not telling us the whole story.

uh he didnt say he was denied the visa just that he didnt think the interview went well and was wondering IF they could deny a visa based on the int.

you need to read the post a little closer next time

Did they keep your passport to mail back to you (with visa intact)? Or did thet keep it and ask you to return later or the next day to pick it up?

They should have told you whether or not your getting the visa. Seriously, they should have told you something.
