Hello all, I'm moving to Seoul in July and wanted to know if anyone knows where any metal gigs are played? I've seen some advertised for Busan.
This is an ad for a gig http://cafe.daum.net/tokkaebi/V6hR/52 but I cannot read korean!
does anyone know where this is? or if they're regularly played?

There have been posts about this in the past, but anyway..
Yes there is metal in Korea. Most of it is Seoul, but there might be some in Busan, too. |

I know there is metal in korea... i just asked where the venues are. |

I did some research on this a while back as my musical tastes tend to run towards Punk and Metal. Pretty much anything from The Ramones to Archenemy, to Dead Kennedys to Poisonblack and back again. Regardless, I found this site, well board actually that may help you Emmuh.
its called BrokeinKorea, try a google for it. If you still cant find it, I can send you a link if need be.
I'll actually be there prolly around August for my first tour of duty in the ESL trenches if you want a drinking / show buddy. =) |
