Korean doctors give them out like candy. I heard diet pills are readily available at the international clinic in Itaewon.

Girl I know just went yesterday (International clinic). Total cost was 238,000 won. 138,000 for the doctor visit + cleansing system (3 days) plus 70,000 for a 30 day supply of "Slimmer Cap" - Sibutramine Mesilate.

What are they like? Do you get a buzz from them? Do they make your heart beat unpleasantly fast, or is it not noticeable? I don't even drink tea or coffee so I imagine they'd have a fairly stern effect on me...

all you need to do is find a doctor of internal medicine. they are at clinics, and hospitals. it will cost you 20,000 won as it is not covered by medical.

ask for reductil. it costs between 60-80,000 a month. it boosts your metabolism and decreases your hunger. it is more effective with exercise. you should be monitored as it can raise your blood pressure, but it has very few side effects. any side effects you might get pass after a week or two.

i found it very effective. look it up online for more info if you are worried...hope this helps!

Reductil is just about the same thing as Sibutramine. You will have a hard time sleeping if you take it anytime after 5-6pm

A friend and I once got hold of Clenbuterol at uni. It's supposed to help cutting, but will also lose weight. Gives you the shakes, cramp and dizziness. It was quite fun in a bizarre way.

If you go to the traditional medicine market at Jegi-dong (line one, next to Cheongnyangni) you can get Ma Huang (similar to ephedrine) in bulk.

I had a girlfriend who's mother tried diet pills. They screwed up her thyroid gland and now she is very heavy and unable to lose the weight no matter what she does.

I lost 40 lbs last year just from running 20 minutes a day, 3 days a week. I also gave up soda and eating after 10pm. In January I weighed 193 lbs. An hour running per week, no soda, and no eating after 10pm got me to the 170s by March, 153 lbs by the end of July.

I think most people are just intimidated by attempting to adopt some radical, new exercise routine and diet. Just make a few small changes and work your way up from there. You're not going to change your life overnight, but you can in a few short months if you start slow and build up.
