Hey everyone, this is my first post on here. I am currently in the process of getting all my paperwork together as I would like to apply to GEPIK. I contacted a recruiter from Say Kimchi who deals directly with GEPIK because I am concerned about my GPA which is embarrassingly low (I partied too hard my junior year and it ended up killing my GPA). She told me that applicants have been rejected for having under a 2.5. Basically I have a 2.1, I barely passed college but I do have my degree. Yes I do regret it but that's what I have to deal with now.
Should I not even bother applying to GEPIK and just focus on hagwons? The idea of teaching for a hagwon makes me a little nervous and I would feel much more comfortable having job security if I am going to be living abroad. If I do teach at a hagwon, will I have a better shot at getting a GEPIK position after a year experience?

My overall GPA was pretty bad as well, though not quite as bad as yours, and I'm still here working for SMOE despite a GPA below the supposed minimum. However my last year was good and my best overall. If you had a good last year you might slid by.
