Hey all!

I'm so stressed out because my recruiter only wants me to work at Chungdahm... I've only read terrible things about it, and really want somewhere with vacations and such... Can anyone recommend a good recruiter to me, please? My friend and I are both trying to get a job with someone other than Chungdahm, but our recruiter, (our second... the first just stopped replying to us when we asked questions about obtaining visas), loves Chungdahm >.>

Thanks so much!!!

Use many recruiters. Don't just stick to one or two.

Exactly. I had 3 recruiters which gave me so many options, it was crazy.

I had a recruiter tell me he was in charge of my resume and photos. I told him I was still in charge and that he along with other recruiters could use them to get me a job.

Don't let a recruiter make you feel you are owned. Maybe they think it's like a restaurant where you don't pick and choose what you want to eat until you commit to the restaurant.

During my phone interview with a well known recruiter - I was told I had to sign an exclusive lifetime contract with them. I said No.

They have some great jobs posted on their website - but the very fact that an agent of a recruiter could get away with saying that has caused me to stay away from them.

I do think some recruiters share info about clients with other recruiters.

Go with ESL-Planet if you're going for a public school job. They always answered my emails and were honest with me. They were able to match my first choice as well.

If you're going for a Hagwon job, just post your resume on Worknplay and ESLcafe and let them come to you. It might take a little longer to find a job, but you're likely to get a better job from doing this.
