Are there any raw oyster restaurants in Seoul? I haven't had them in ages and have a craving. |

I've never been to a reastaurant that served them exclusively. They are sometimes served as an Anju side dish with Korean Sashimi known as Hoe. I've also seen them served alonside Posam( Steamed pork with kimchi) in Tonbongsan mountain. There is a great fish market in Norianging in Seoul. You can great pretty much anything |

Unfortunately it's the wrong time of the year. During late Fall and Winter you'll see raw oyster restaurants all over (굴 on the sign). As soon as the weather warms up though they're virtually unavailable.
People have told me it's due to shellfish going bad faster in hot weather...how other countries manage I don't know. |

I had them this February or March in Incheon near Bupyeong. My friend and I had 3 platters. Good stuff and the side dishes were excellent. Only 10,000/platter. |

Yeah, oysters are out of season. The rule of thumb is eat and buy oysters in months that contain the letter 'r'. In other words, not May, June, July or August.
And take it from me, food poisoning from raw oysters is not fun. |
