meet during the week? I'd like to practice my korean and study it with some language exchange clubs, but they all meet in the afternoon on the weekends.
My evenings are free during the week, so I'd like to go to one of those...perferably next to konkuk University or somewhere close to that area...I don't really feel like traveling out to hongdae every monday or thursday for a meeting.
Any resources on finding those language clubs or international clubs? Facebook sucks for this purpose BTW, they all meet on saturday or Sunday...I'm too busy recovering from last night to do a language exchange on those days. |

"Language exchange"... you randy tinker. We all know those clubs are basically just free-love fronts. Remember - rubber up!
(Sorry, I don't have anything constructive to add, and I can't go home until half four.) |

C'mon...nobody goes to language exchange clubs here???
I know every college has to have one...
and for the person saying they're easy sex....not really....If you want a girlfriend and are willing to put in alots of time, yeah....it might happen..
But the majority were looking for for some english lessons first, boyfriend second....not a quick F*** ....if they wanted that they'd go to itaewon or Tinpan. |

Here's a good website for meeting language exchange partners.
http://www.livemocha.com/
I found that by putting my ad in with Korean Language (don't put your ad in English), you eliminate 90% of the college students writing to you. With your ad in Korean it also helps you to find someone at a more basic English language level. If the other persons English is excellent, and your Korean is basic, then most of the conversation will be in English and you get nil. Try to find someone with basic English only and you can stay in Korean language mode much longer in the exchanges. |

I'd rather join a club than use individual exchanges....Korean friends I have by the boatload....I just want a place to practice korean in a group during the week 1-2 times...
I've done the individual route....it's interesting and you meet some cool people...but I'd like to join a group that meets together and what not... |
