What are some good websites to find housing in Hongdae?
I'm looking for places that are as cheap as possible with the lowest key-money required |

http://www.oneroom.com/ is a good site. Never used it to get a place, just looked around there a lot. |

Please don't use that website, it will waste your time.
Search through these forums using google to find what you need to know. Or hit the real estate offices in person. Alot. |

I like the look of that website, I'm just having some trouble with my poor Korean, lol. I'll keep trying to figure out how to find the locations and prices...
I would go to real estate agents in person, except I currently came back to the states, and I'm trying to line something up before the swarms of people arrive. I have a friend still in Seoul who can check out my top option or two, but I need to do most of my looking online, which is why I asked for a website.
I have searched through the forums, but most of the websites I have found either don't work anymore or don't have places available in Hongdae, which is why I posted here. Does anyone have any other suggestions? |

I've used that site before. FYI... All the pics on that site are lies. Even the real estate agent told me this when I check out some places. It's to sucker you in and show you other places that they think you'll rent. |

So, does anyone else have any other websites to suggest? |

I live in Hongdae and will be moving out the last week of August.
I have two roommates (the lease runs for another six months) and they are really awesome people.
The building is less than five years old, there is a huge common area with a full kitchen and separate living room.
It's about a five minute walk from Hapjeong station, and another five minutes in the other direction from the Hongdae bars, but the house is on a really quiet street.
The room is offered unfurnished, but you can buy everything you need from me if you wish. |
