Does anyone know how much a month student health insurance can cost?
I'm from Canada if it helps at all.
Also where do I find information about this? I tried searching on the internet but most things are from America so it wasn't much help to me.
Thanks a lot in advance.

I arranged mine through Chartis (used to be AIG), as recommended by my school. website is healthinkorea.com but you can only sign up through the site if you happen to go to one of 4 particular schools (Yonsei, Korea U, Soongsil, Ulsan). otherwise call Won-Il Park for English service on 080 116 4949 / 010 2537 4495

Havent had to claim anything so cant speak for the claims process but premium is pretty reasonable (I paid 150k for 18 months), coverage seems decent and signing up was easy enough, just agree the length of coverage and make a bank transfer. note that coverage doesnt start until 15 days after you sign up. They send policy documents and the insurance card to keep in your wallet.

Hope that helps

If you're an exchange/study abroad student, I'm sure your school will point you in the right direction. I know my school would always give us information on where to go to sign up for that sort of thing. It's not expensive though. I can't even remember the cost of mine.
