I recently started using PP 2003, and am a little frustrated. The frustration arises when say I have 2 images on a slide perfectly sized and placed. Then I decide to paste a third image in, and all of a suddent stupid frickin PP deicides I want all three equally sized and spaced on the slide. It pisses me off so bad, 2000 would never do such a thing. Has anyone found a setting to turn this off?

Thanks

if I'm following you correctly, you don't want the pix neat and orderly?

I think you can do a couple of things -

you could arrange them outside pp and do a file insert after having saved them on your hard drive

you could position the first 2 then do a group function before adding the 3rd; that should prevent it from inserting itself.

there should also be an option in the preferences as to "snap to grid" which it sounds like it's doing - check on that - turn off the option and check on other options about formatting automatically, which it is doing.

see if this helps, if not please do post again. I use photos in PP a lot and understand your dilemma, haven't had that happen before so I don't know why you are.
