OK, Need some advice about "sweet-talking" Immigtration re: getting a new visa certified to allow a visa run....

Basically I've gotten two sides to various visa matters, and it's driving me buggy- one side says they need a letter of release from my first school, while other says no, as the visa is ending naturally, and it'll be a new one. and that's just for starters.

So does anyone have any pointers for helping to come around to my way of thinking? that a visa run is in order and that's the end of that?

and for some reason, I find these problems oddly fun to have to solve, but that's more a matter for me and any licensed professional. Wink

After your visa expires 'naturally', you won't need jack.

Rory,

WTF is visa 'certification'?

WTF do you mean by "the visa is ending naturally, and it'll be a new one."?

Sincerely,
CM

P.S. If you're thinking of giving a 'gift' to an Immi. officer, the envelope should be white.

With the new, o-man won note there's no need for anything approaching the size of an apple box. Wink

P.P.S. Always make sure you write the name of the officer on the outside of the envelope in red ink.

that's exactly what I told the coordinator! she was pretty adamant about having it.... My guess is this is her first time actually doing a visa of someone already in-country... yikes... Crying or Very sad

but no, I'm not bribing them for doing their job the way it should be done....
