I got a package wrongly delivered to my place the other day... says it's a few swimsuits. I know I can't put people's names on eslcafe, so if you're expecting this package, PM me.

You should drop it off to the nearest post office. I was looking for a lost package once and that's the first place I looked.

why wouldn't you just take it back to the PO and tell them it was wrongly delivered (and, while you're at it, give them a brief lecture that there are more than a few people with English names and addresses in this country, and that they should pay more attention)?

it's not your job to find the owner, it's the PO's job. posting on here would seem to be even more of a longshot than trusting the mailman, however incompetent he is.
