All I can say is finally a taste of their own medicine. People with common conditions like Depression, OCD etc... should be able to seek treatment without the stigma of closed minded people who think they are better because they are "normal". Go Canada! Very Happy

As much as one might to think this shows the sad state of Korea I'm afraid it shows more of the absurd state of Canada.

Kind of puts a whole new meaning to "refugee" doesn't it?

I thought the Korean way was to have family members look after each other?

I bet Lee Myung Bak will start putting these people on flights to Canada ASAP!

Jokes on Canada...

Brian in Jeollanamdo brought this news to light two days ago. See here:

http://briandeutsch.blogspot.com/2009/06/mentally-ill-woman-faced-persecution-in.html

Also, give a quick read of the woman's online blog; I don't know anyone who will have sympathy for her and applaud Canada on their decision after you read the Canada-bashing she does. Also her blog post at one point heralds Osama Bin Laden and congratulates him on the job he did in New York.

Canada is a haven for Leftist Liberal arts Wakjobs. This lady is already better off than any of us would be if we had to escape to Canada from a potential Nuclear war.

Her- Here's a free prescription Government subsidized housing, free food at the foodbank, free daycare. and a big cheque plus social assistance.
also affirmative action for goverment jobs

Us- Wallmarts hiring, line up over there.

Decisions like this also have the spin-off effect of creating resentment towards immigrants and refugees.

Mentally ill refugees are generally not considered for government jobs. Or big cheques for that matter. She'll probably end up in a treatment center or hospital somewhere.

Wal-Mart is better..at least we'll have our freedom after work.

I've yet to meet a Rightie who deals in anything but falsehoods and half-truths. It's no wonder so many of you seem to end up here: it allows you to continue living in the fantasy world you worked so hard to create back home.

All you need is the classic "white girls are all fat and disgusting, I'm only interested in Asian girls" Dave's argument and you'll have most of the stereotypes covered!

But, like, white girls are like, kinda gross.

You can bounce a dime off of a Japanese girl's butt.
