Smooth Criminal,
I don't know how a song manages to repeat the chorus line for 80% for the song and still manages to be good. |

emmmmm ... ok...
I think for pure honesty and truth in a song, and of course with a great uplifting riff I would have to chose
HEAL THE WORLD
you can't get a song with a more clear message than this song..
with a combination of Micheal jackson and david foster it can only mean one thing.. AWESOME! very beautiful RnB/soul track.. |

While it's not just Michael's song, I like, "We are the world." Heal the world is another one where he just poured his aching heart into his music. Since the early 90's, it was clear he was not ever really happy as it was a huge burden being such a highly ultra sensitive intellectual as well as the high caliber celebrity he was requiring his highly unusual eccentric life to be all private. Too bad he went downhill in his last 15 years. He was doing so well in the 1970's and 1980's, looked really healthy, and was set up sweet, but something went badly wrong.
"Beat It," is one my 80's favorites. |

The brief periods of silence between his songs.
The sound of his records Cd's being removed from whatever they are being played on.
The fact that all this media frenzy will soon be over and we can watch the real news again. |
