So I met a well spoken classy looking 30ish lady a few days ago. We had the usual discourse she impressing me with her English and Me Mo Moing ma Kool Corean Logos. She mentioned she was planning a trip to Europe in the summer and had quit her job a week ago. So, I inquired what her job was but she said she would not tell me. Later in text messages she said she would pick me up at the Emart in her car this Friday and later reveal her past job to me. When I met her she was not dressed in a bad way and she was not cloying or weird. Still, I don't see why she would not tell me what her job was. Is there some sort of job that is shameful? - other than the obvious ones that are illegal.

Anyhow, I hope she is not a terrorist kidnapper. If so this may be the last you hear from me.

Maybe she doesn't feel comfortable as her job is not as high level as she had hoped for and expected. It's kind a like an English teacher or soldier not being comfortable talking about their job when they had hoped for (and technically qualified) to be a contracts specialist, high paid scientist, or CEO executive.

Where is the option " she is from NK and looking for a man to marry with the two American journalists in the camp and make some westerner- looking NK spies for the next tens of years"?

That must be a combo of heaven and hell.

Choose the most correct answer

Room Salon hostess- High level, Usually very good looking and very expensive. If she looks like a model or singer I would choose this catagory.

Red Light district worker This would be similar to above although the difference would be the quality of service would be much lover and the amount of time would be much less. There is also a sub-catagory of the ones off the main drag who service the DDD workers these are usually borderline adjumma quality.

Barber Pole worker- These are usually much plainer and older than the two catagories above although they are much better than the ones that service the DDD workers.

Singing Room Workers
I put these in two sub- catagories
University Students- Younger and More Attractive but less friendly.
Adjumma- Possibly mothers of the students you teach. I wonder if the father knows

It does not take a rocket scientist to figure out what she is hiding and ashamed of telling you.

She may have a very simple (and silly) reason for not telling the guy.

For instance, I have a Taiwanese friend who teaches English in Kaoshiung. She told me that when she goes abroad and meets foreigners who ask her what she does, she usually says she's a math teacher because she feels embarassed to tell them she teaches English. She doesn't feel like her English is good enough to brag about it, so she lies. It may well be the case with the woman the OP met

At any rate, I hope he's going let us know!

Bingo.

I think that she speaking English well is the key. Any decent looking girl can become a hooker, if she wants the money she can't have doing honest work, but an English-speaking good looking girl can have quite many choices in jobs paying at a very high level.

Someone looking to go to Europe and speaking English speaks of someone more cosmopolitan than your average hook gal. My .02.

Very fun this modern-day who'd-done-her titillating quiz.

That is an awesome avatar Exclamation I owned a 1975 Corvette Stingray the exact same colour. Sex on wheels! I remember being at a red light once and a minivan pulled up beside me. The guy leaned out his window (I had the T-tops off) and said I had an amazing car. I said thank you. He asked how I could possibly afford it. I asked him how many kids he had. He said four. I said I had none. The light turned green and I motored away as he juggled the possibilites in his addled mind...kids??? 'vette??? kids??? 'vette
