For those of you who taught English in Korea what did you do when you got home? Did teaching ESL help you to find a job? If so how did you get another job? What kind of degree did you have?
I just got back from Korea and am looking for a administrative/office job. I have a BA in Psych and 3 years teaching experience but find that all of that is pretty useless to get anything. |

Yep. I've probably sent out 100 resumes. Route driver, office worker, data entry, etc. 0 replies except from a scam or two.
Yet I've sent out 10 resumes for ESL teaching in Korea, China, and elsewhere and got 8 replies. Guess I'm headed back to teaching... |
