Every year is different; and depends on two variables:
1. how many fall on weekends; and,
2. the lunar calendar.

This year sucks big time... most statutory holidays fall on weekends (in K-land you do not get another day off 'in liew').

The pain, The PAIN
As you said a bad calendar.

How I miss a grand ol USA holiday Wednesday as it meant the command just gave up on the whole week as we would be drunk anyway.

Can we try to teach Korea about one of the true wonders of the western world?
I bet they would be on board for this subject.
