have a friend, that u trust, hang on to it for u in their apt. offer to pay them a "holding fee", true friends will tell u to keep ur money, ur traveling they understand u need a place to keep ur stuff. at least mine did.
then, when ur done traveling, swing through korea for a few days, gather ur things, then head back home. this works for several reasons. if ur traveling, ur probably in SE asia or central asia. so, u'll be living out of ur backpack in mostly 3rd world countries. stopping back into korea gives u a chance to rest, shower in a quality hotel, eat better quality food, and take it easy as uve been living here and know ur way around things. most of us love to backpack, but admit, it can be a bit stressful from time to time.
if ur super paranoid about it, leave ur laptop with one friend and then ur charger and battery with another friend completely unrelated to the other friend (supposing u have that many friends)
there r also storage places like we have in the states here, just hard to find. u basically rent out a small garage, but its kind of expensive, 30,000won a week i think.
good luck!
where r u going btw? |
