There is a hagwon in Apgujung that pays native speakers 5 million won / month.

The hours are 9am-6pm. Also, 5 million is a low salary, other native teachers there make more.

True or false?

*EDIT* Fixed typo

If this is true its very poor but, I am guessing pkang made an error. It is not the first time on this board.

I have never herd of anyone getting a nice round 5 million a month but I do know of people who have got between 4 million and 6 million teaching exam prep for students who wanna go abroad to study. Each of these teachers has been a gypo and all bar one had gone to a pretty good university.

Still can't forget about my salary post? What's wrong, are you bitter because I make a Level A salary at my high school with just a BA, TEFL cert, and 2 years experience?

Its so nice to work in Gangnam.

Anyways, I was asking about the 5 mil / month Hagwon job. A Korean friend of mine swears that her "native friend" makes that at a hagwon. Some dude named "Chris" that graduated from UCLA and works in Apgujeong apparently makes 5 mil/won a month with no overtime, and no jobs outside of his 9am-6pm job.

Also, "Chris" is getting paid the minimum and other teachers at this hagwon make 7 million won/month.
