I am considering taking a job over there, or near Heukseok stn. But I have to find my own housing. Is it expensive? Any recomended places? The park looks cools, but I dont know if the 7 is the best line to live on.
Any input is appreciated. |

I used to live and work not from from there. The area isn't particularly wealthy (like Gangnam) but I thought it was fine. The park can be nice, but it can also get crowded. You'll be in an area with access to plenty of buses to take you all around the city and you'll be pretty centrally located as far as the subway goes so getting around will be easy for you. |

I use to live in that area. It is nice and quite, lots of parks if you like to run. It is also very close (5 minutes by bus) from Noryangjin which has alot of cheap but really good food, bars and subway line 1 and 9. It is also not far from Yongsan and Itaewon. I really liked living there. |

I lived near there too... one stop from Sangdo station. Line 7 is a bit inconvenient, I think, but Noryangjin isn't far, and you've got Line 1 and Line 9 there, which are both much better.
Overall, I liked the area. There's the usual selection of hofs and restaurants, and I'm guessing that housing isn't madly expensive. A friend of mine had a really nice apartment, which was affordable, near Jangseungbaegi station. |
