I know the mere idea of heading to a Korean waterpark will gross most people out, but does anyone know which is better?
Advantages and disadvantages listed in a coherent form please... |

Went to Ocean World 2 years ago and had a great time. There weren't that many people there since it wasn't during summer vacation for kids, so I never waited any longer than 5 minutes for any water slide.
I'm also very partial to their choice of celebrity spokewoman.
But I'd recommend going in the next two weeks, or in September cuz i'm sure it's more crowded during vacation time. Ocean World is part of Vivaldi Park which is a big complex that includes OW, a ski resort in winter, and lots of hotels. There are other things to do there like shopping, or renting dirtbikes and doing a riding trail.
Never been to Caribbean Bay, I've heard CB is always packed, but if you go there you can also do Everland which is the best theme park in Korea. |

| My Korean students told me Ocean world was better, because it was much cleaner. |

| I went to Caribbean Bay a couple weeks ago and it was packed! Every slide that you might be interested in going on had at least a 50 minute wait time (there are signs). In the wave pool you are just about shoulder to shoulder with other people. To be fair, though, I went on a Saturday that kids weren't in school. I'm sure things would be somewhat different during the week. |

| Haven't been to either, but advised to go to CB as early in the day as possible. |

Caribbean Bay sucked. If you don't get there early enough you might not get in. My friend and I bought our tickets that allowed us to go to both Everland and Caribbean Bay. We went to Everland first. When we left Everland, there was a huge line for Caribbean Bay. We waited for an hour and a half only to be told that we need to get a line queue ticket. We would have had to wait another 2 hours to get in. So we demanded our money back.
We went the next weekend and got their early. I was rainy and sorta cold (for swimming). We figured that it wouldn't be busy because only us crazy Americans would be stupid enough to go then. We were wrong. It was at max capacity but we still went in. I was crazy crowed and it wasn't very fun.
So I suggest that you go to Ocean World, because CB sucks. |

cool - thanks for the help guys. Completely agree with the 'spokeswoman' comment by the way. I nearly made my decision based purely on the delusional assumption that she'll be there
The kids at my school told me CB was packed too. I definitely want to go to Ocean World - does anyone know how far it is from Bundang? |
