Does anyone know if you can use them at shops and stuff...I've never really had to use them. When I got here I took out cash from the ATM and used that til I got a check card from NH bank.
I ask cause my family is visiting next month and they are asking...and I frankly don't know  I'm assuming Seoul definitely will...what about smaller places? |

| I've used both my US bank Visa check card and US credit cards at stores, restaurants, ATMs, etc here in Korea without a problem. Just make sure your home bank/credit card company has been informed that you're abroad so they don't suspend your card if they notice purchases in Korea. |
