Does anyone know if in the vicinity of Cheongju (청주) airport there is a jjimjilbang or hotel? Do you have to travel into central Cheongju for such pleasures?

If it were me, I would get into any taxi and say something like "Cheongju yeogwan" (여관) and the ajosshi would get the drift. They would know where to take you.

It has been a looonnngg time since I've been to Cheongju.

But what I remember .... across the street from the Cheongju Bus Terminal there is a Lotte Mart and quite a number of what I could call jjimjilbang-tels.

Fancy, small, modern, well hidden saunas that are quite private, all around that block.

You could also stay in one near to one of the Daejeon stations, it's only about 40 minutes by train if IRC.
