Does anyone know if in the vicinity of Cheongju (청주) airport there is a jjimjilbang or hotel? Do you have to travel into central Cheongju for such pleasures?
Ta very much |

If it were me, I would get into any taxi and say something like "Cheongju yeogwan" (여관) and the ajosshi would get the drift. They would know where to take you.
It has been a looonnngg time since I've been to Cheongju.
But what I remember .... across the street from the Cheongju Bus Terminal there is a Lotte Mart and quite a number of what I could call jjimjilbang-tels.
Fancy, small, modern, well hidden saunas that are quite private, all around that block. |

Easier to get a love-motel.

You could also stay in one near to one of the Daejeon stations, it's only about 40 minutes by train if IRC. |

You might get more luck calling the tourist information office at (area code) 1330, or try the lonely planet page. Good luck. |
