Well I just spent the whole day on my computer, discovering to my disgust that Kazaa had loaded all kinds of spyware s**t that I don't want (and realizing I should have read the TOU a little more closely) and that I would have been better off going with Kazaa Lite. Even though it has been officially shut down as of December. Downloaded ZoneAlarm Pro, BOUGHT a copy over the net, and deleted all kinds of spyware.

They don't call it Lite for nothing. What an improvement.

Get a load of the nerve of Kazaa, too. They bundle spyware into their program like Gator, etc., that steals advertising revenue from other websites, create a p2p program that...''ahem''....technically violates copyright, then they have the nerve to shut down Kazaa Lite because it violates THEIR copyright.

It's been a learning experience.

Anybody had any experience buying software over the net, using a credit card? Gave me the heebee-jeebies but I wanted to try it at least once. Now see if I can order something from Amazon and have it delivered here in Korea.

And yes, I know. I gotta get away from the computer more. But it's raining cats and dogs here in Daegu today. What'rya gonna do?

I would say you should get off of the FastTrack network and download a real P2P program like Shareaza, Overnet, BitTorrent, or SoulSeek.

i hear the morpheus 4.0 can connect to all those networks, including fast track.

no spyware, but there is adware, and you do get pop up ads occasionally.

I've tried many and so far I prefer Overnet. Kaze Lite is good for songs.

I haven't tried Bitorrent though. There's some debate and people who use it seem to think it's the best. It's a little more complicated to get started that's all.

I always used the Internet at PC bangs before now, so I didn't really care. I'm a little behind on the technology but I learn fast. Twisted Evil

Not bad for an obscure film - 5 minutes left from when last I posted...
