... after we went to the park and she wore an adjumma visor. This isn't just the standard visor, but rather the Darth Vader one.
How could somebody who dresses nice and looks good on the daily make such an inexcusable fashion blunder?
In this case, I don't care about function > fashion. No girls under 40 should be rocking these. Completely ruined it for me. |

If you're going to be out in the direct sun, want to save your skin from sun damage and still keep your head cool, or keep it from baking under a baseball cap, the visor works better than nothing. Fashion be damned.
I like the ones with the scrunchy phone-cord type bands, they hurt less. Anything with plastic in it is going to pinch eventually--usually behind your ears. Get one with a soft band that goes around the back of your head, for comfort's sake. And the sake of your skin. |

I take no issue with regular hats or tennis-style visors. I understand wanting to protect your skin.
However, this was the Adjumma 8000 Darth Vader visor. You have to be a level 90 or above adjumma to even buy these.
Just saying, there are other options! |

You're making the mistake of thinking Koreans think like we do about ajumma visors. Koreans don't see tham as 'ajumma' visors. They just see them as sun visors.
I've seen hip young men on scooters wear them to shield their eyes from sun and wind......because god forbid they would ever wear a helmet!! |

I haven't seen that, not even once.
I have seen hundreds of middle aged ajumma tyupes wearing those visors, not a single man ever.
Even if 5% of wearers were men the vast majority are still middle aged married Korean women going to pot fashionwise, ajumma. Regardless what Koreans think of it in terms of fashion. |

The beak like formation is not a sun visor but a evolutionary addition that can be linked to the Tracheodon dinosours. Something gained through natural selection. The visor like formation is attached to the skull and provides shade while in it's natural habbitat the market selling stinky fish or buying even stinkier fish |

Also +1 to the OP. Running by the river the other day I saw a banging girl, probably in her 20s. Short shorts, a nice tight top. . . and turning around, a giant visor like she was a Cylon.
At that moment the sound of lip-smacking and cackling subway laughter pierced my brain and I picked up my pace just a bit to get the heck out of there. |

I saw a 30ish man wearing one on the train on Sunday. He was going hiking. Very funny. |

Just picture her nude with nothing else but the visor. You're cured. |
