I have an BSc in Liberal Studies from Eastern Oregon University and an MA TESOL from San Jose State University. I have been thinking a lot about finding an online course in Southeast Asian Studies...MA program and Grad cert/dip. I would just do it out of interest. I know I could do independent study and save a lot of money, but I like the structure a program provides me. Also, I would not be in a hurry, though I know there are timeframes.
Has anyone done anything like this. I would like to hear about it if you did. If you have and have thought about it, would exactly have you gave thought to, or what is your area of interest? |

Currently doing something like it at the moment.
I'm studying for a Bachelor's Film Animation. I originally really wanted to be into the whole business doing most of the pre-work (storyboarding, etc), but the more I do it, the more I thinking that I'd rather just have the knowledge and do something with it for myself. Plus, the industry itself is something that I don't know if I can actually break into.
I'm going to be applying to do a double Bachelor's studying Early Childhood Education next, since I enjoy working with kids and have way more experience with that then with doing any work in the art field.
Anyway, if you have the money and time, I don't really see why anything would stop you if you have interest in it. |

If you have money, time, and motivation, I don't see why not. I had the first two when I started at seminary and then I realized I loved learning and hated school, and promptly dropped out. |
